Greetings my royal Raggamuffins. It is with great pleasure i am here to annouce that we here at Ragga Lox Music is getting ready to re-release a remastered version of the classic reggae album STEPPA INNA BABYLON from RAGGA LOX.
Set for a early spring release, the eleven track album which already has features from Richie Spice, Lutan Fyah, Mikey General and Ethiopian artiste Jah Lude, will have 2 bonus tracks added. The tracks will compliment the heavy drum and base organic reggae style of the orignal album, to now make 13 tracks.
On the orginal release in 2010, the album STEPPA INNA BABYLON by RAGGA LOX, was a success, topping the Foundation Reggae Charts, with album and single. The Charts operated by Clinton Lyndsay, a reggae Stallwart, has been around for over 20 years and is still going. The album went to the number 2 position, and and the single ON DI CORNER secure Ragga Lox his first number one on the singles chart. The song was a deliberate attempt by Ragga to remake Horace Andy's "SKYLARKING" hit, without using the original lyrcs. The song instantly connected with RAGGA LOX's fan base and got a lot of rotation including being a regular on IrieFm Jamaica Morning show with Ron Muschette.
